The StateBook platform is frequently updated with the latest data, new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Some of these changes are immediately available on the platform, such as regular updates to many data sources. For example, changes are made each week to update to the latest unemployment, economic, and industry statistics. Other changes are made through a traditional release process, including enhancements to our platform and API's, new features, and new data sources.
For larger releases, StateBook provides early access to features and data on our Beta servers, located at https://beta.statebook.com. These servers are to be used by our customers to preview features and test applications for compatibility. These servers are not designed for production or commercial use.
StateBook makes every effort to maintain backward compatibility for our API's; however, changes may be necessary as we add new features. When we anticipate a change in backward compatibility, we will announce the change and provide a beta period so that developers can prepare for the change in their applications and test against our Beta servers.
